Last Kruise Night this week

The Elks Lodge at the corner of 79 and 537 is hosting its last Kruise Night of the season this coming Thursday from 6-9 PM.

The Elks will have the grill fired up with great food. Proceeds go to Army of Hope, a charity that helps the families of our troops.

Classic cars park in the Elks lot, all other are asked to park on side streets or walk to the lodge.

There will also be two live music acts playing that night. Local favorite Sal Alversano will start the night and jersey shore legend Astronaut Jones will finish the night off.

The event is small compared to the town wide event we used to have, but it is a really good time and all are welcomed.

I saw some old post by a Jayne Carr that said that 50,000 people came to the Main Street Kruise nights? Was that so?

Personally, I do not know the exact number of people that Kruise Night brought in when it was run by the town. Without question, it was the biggest event this town had. Nothing else even comes close.
