Farmers Market to be held Saturday

I checked the Downtown Freehold web site and did not see an official announcement, but fro a very good source I did hear that the Partnership is going to move the Farmers Market to Saturday for at least a couple of weeks to see how it goes,

This is very good news for borough residents, many of whom could not attend the market due to the hours it has held during the week. If this move to Saturday does happen, I encourage residents to go and support the market so that we can keep it on Saturday.

i got the notification late last week and did not post in time. For this week, the farmers Market is on Saturday August 27th from 9 am to 12 noon.

According to the release, it is only on this Saturday. It should be a good opportunity for borough residents who cannot attend the market during its regular Friday hours.

One important point. The Saturday farmers market is for this week only, but the regular Friday farmers market is still on for its regular hours.
