Council has no vision

Resident Mike Alagna really nailed it. This is a really good letter and highlights the fact that this town has no vision. We stared at urban blight for ten years, just to get a 7-11? It is so sad that Freehold continues to not reach its true potential. It is crystal clear that people like Preseidente Geo have no vision.

I will say most of our council are hard working dedicated individuals, and for that I applaud them. I have said time after time, I see no vision out of Schnurr. I see him as a follower or a puppet! I guess this year we shall see how mighty the Yankees (as Schnurr refers to the dems) will be. Lets see Schnurr fumble and mumble all through a debate this year, I don't see how he can answer questions without the Mayor whispering the answers into his ear!

George is a funny fella, isn't he? He will make this year quite interesting. He will need to remember that though he may think he is a Yankee, this is a small town in a pee wee league. Remember, I dubbed him the hit man because he loves to go after people. He has lied about people ( me) and used his council seat a bully pulpit. Neither are traits that are likely to be very welcome in this small town. He will need that debate to redefine himself for the better. I am sure he would like a debate, it is his nature, but can it get done? We have seen nothing but nonsense coming from him and his team over recent years.

Getting back to the topic on hand, I agree Mike, most of the council are good people. With the exception if Sims and Newman, I do believe they voted wrong on this issue. Enthusiasm over a 7-11 shows how short sighted this town is. It seamed like there was a lot of foot dragging over the 7-11. Wonder why it is so priority now?
