I am putting this here because i know many borough residents who use and enjoy the Henry Hudson Trail, which starts here in the borough.

The best biking trail in New Jersey is right in Freehold, according to readers of New Jersey Monthly magazine. This is the second year in a row New Jersey Monthly readers have picked Henry Hudson Trail as one of their favorites. The 24-mile long trail has a northern portion from Aberdeen to Atlantic Highlands, as well as a southern portion that run from Freehold to Marlboro and Aberdeen. Bicyclists aren’t the only ones who enjoy the trail: walkers, runners and equestrians make frequent use of the former railroad right of way.
