Hey everyone!! Come to Nonna's in Manalapn or Metro in Downtown Freehold on Thursday March 3!!! They will donate 20% of their bill to our cancer funds! Help us spread awareness and have fun!! We will be at both locations throughout the day/night. Let us know who is going where and we will be sure to come by and say hi!!! Thanks for everything Can't wait!! Special events bring attention to colorectal cancer month

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP — CentraState Medical Center is inviting the public to help Paint the Town Blue in March, which is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

CentraState has joined with colorectal cancer survivor Paulette Stallone of Manalapan to help raise awareness for colon cancer prevention and early detection through screenings. Paulette is a marathon runner, fitness instructor and mom who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer three years ago at the age of 44.

Colorectal screenings not only detect cancer early when it is most treatable, but also can help prevent cancer by detecting precancerous polyps that can be removed, according to a press release.
