CentraState has joined with colorectal cancer survivor Paulette Stallone of Manalapan to help raise awareness for colon cancer prevention and early detection through screenings. Paulette is a marathon runner, fitness instructor and mom who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer three years ago at the age of 44. Colorectal screenings not only detect cancer early when it is most treatable, but also can help prevent cancer by detecting precancerous polyps that can be removed, according to a press release.
