Kim’s application proposes 21 parking spaces (including one handicap space). The application states there is insufficient parking and states that “the parking issue is a pre-existing condition ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kim said many of his customers walk or take a taxi to his current location and he said he wants to remain in a place where his customers can still reach his business. He said he cannot expand his operation at his current location. Kim said he has 11 employees in his existing store and he said that number would increase to about 16 employees if he moves into the Silvert’s Furniture building. He said most of his employees walk to work. Kim said about 85 percent of his customers walk to the grocery store and will not require parking spaces at the new location
