For the first time in years, the township and borough will play each other in the Thanksgiving football game. Here is a cut and paste from a facebook page:

For the first time since 1999, the Freehold Boro/Freehold Township game will return on Thanksgiving Eve at 6:30PM at the Twp HS. The two schools played every Thanksgiving from 1972-99 and the Boro is winning the series 15-10-3. The Twp. won the last game in 1999 by a score 7 to 6.
