Hey George, where's the debate? We the people are waiting.......
The above statement appeared in my footer. A couple of site participants had some questions as to where I was going with it. I waited until after silly season to make this post for a reason. With passions flaring it is often too easy for people to miss the tone, which in this case is meant with a part playful tone.
In recent years we have seen several attempts at getting some sort of debate between the two parties. The past two years, George made super duper, crystal clear, that any debate discussion is between the GOP and Dems. Fair enough, We will call what we saw this year the "George way."
My response has always been that if we the people wait for the parties, the only thing we will see is partisan bickering and no debate. I am a firm believer that the two parties are completely incapable of getting it done. The gist of the footer?
I was right> ;D
Let me be clear....I am NOT blaming either side ( or George) this year. Let them blame each other. It really doesnt' matter. That is why I kept saying that my smile was growing every time we saw someone trying to assign blame. They were backing up what I always said. I don't mean this with a malicious tone, but who doesn't like being right?
So in a nutshell, I am not blaming anyone ;D I was right
and I enjoyed the show. Thank you George! 
As far as next year, if anyone says the D word, lets just fuggedaboutit. It ain't never gonna happen. The bickering and arguing that ensues is a complete waste of time and serves absolutely no purpose, especially for the voters.
