AS an aside, Anna Little and Scott Siprelle are both Tea party backed candidates. Thank God both Pallone and Holt are gone.

Sorry to bring coffee to the tea party, Brian, but it looks like Little lost to Pallone, who got re-elected and just declared victory in Red Bank. Holt as of 10:20 is ahead, too, beating out Sipprelle.

And I will have sugar with my coffee: how sweet it is -- Tea Partiers Siprelle and Little are losers. The Democrats Holt and Pallone are -- like Kane and Sims -- re-elected. Good night and good luck.

Out of curiousity, why were the Republicans and Democrats both advertising the Holt/Sipprelle race here in Freehold? Does Freehold Township fall in the 12th district? Heck, until I received my ballot, I thought Holt was my congressman.

My guess is the reason being that these were two of the only races of strong interest and both sides just advertised everywhere.
