Latino Film Festival Set to Debut in OctoberFilm Fest to be Part of Latino Festival of Monmouth County
The Latino Festival of Monmouth County is going to the movies this year as it prepares to add a three-day film fest to its list of activities. In the past, the Latino Festival has been a one-day event focused on danci...ng, singing and public education in downtown Freehold, but the sixth annual gathering will include a venue for movie-goers who will be able to view films at the Center Playhouse on South Street on October 1, 2 and 3. The downtown festival will be held on Saturday, October 2 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hall of Records parking lot off of Main Street. The rain date is October 3. Further information about the entertainment schedule for the Latino Festival will be forthcoming in the near future
I have to give credit where it is due, the above information is from a post Marc Le Vine made on facebook. It looks like he is being the dutiful CIC member and posted it on the Neighborhood Pride Committee page.
On another note, also from facebook, I saw a little rumor that Olde Freehold Day is not happening this year. Maybe we can just call the Latino Festival " New Freehold Day"
