Mission Dance will perform in Freehold FREEHOLD — The popular 10-piece cover band Mission Dance will perform a free concert in front of the Monmouth County Hall of Records on Main Street, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Aug. 12. The concert is being presented as part of the “Thursdays Rock in Downtown Freehold” summer concert series, which has included performances by the Nerds, Jersey Four, U2 Nation, Tusk, and Jimmy and the Parrots so far. Beatles Faux Sale is slated to perform the music of the Beatles on Aug. 19. Mission Dance, based in Freehold, performs a multitude of popular genres ranging from Journey, Bon Jovi and Springsteen to Andrea Bocelli and “Phantom of the Opera,” in addition to Beyonce and Lady Gaga, at private events such as weddings, bar mitzvahs and corporate events, in addition to local clubs. During the Freehold Borough show, Mission Dance will perform all of the above and much more with a set list designed to appeal to people of all ages. Mission Dance Entertainment has been named a top wedding professional in The Knot Best of Weddings 2010 list awarded by Knot Best of Weddings Magazine. Mission Dance was great last night. I don't think any band in the concert series gets the crowd moving as well as Mission Dance. ( though they are all great)
