Councilwoman Sharon Shutzer

I often read several different sites that are about Freehold in order to seek out more information for this one. Today I came across one site, that I do not participate on, and saw an unwarranted attack on Councilwoman Shutzer. To insult someone out of nowhere and for no reason is classless and uncalled for.

For that reason, I make this post to compliment the good councilwoman. Right about now I am sure many Dems are not thrilled with me due to the recent letter, but that is fair. Disagreement on issues is a fact of life and happens. I never condone malicious attacks and am glad we do not make that a practice on this site.

Either way, Sharon is a good person and a good councilwoman. I have seen her stand up and fight for this town. Her passion is unparalleled and I have no doubt that she is a person of good and decent character.

Whenever she does leave office, the history of this town she has been a part of will be one that is favorable to her. Her record will stand on its own as an example of great public service.

I have butted heads with Sharon on political issues -- to be sure. Having said that -- I know her quite well, and personally, I like her very much. Moreover, I think she speaks up and speaks her mind -- which is at least 50% of the job.

I am not familar with the attack or the posting you reference, and if it is as represented, I suggest we give it no additional publicity.

Sharon's a great lady, and she has served the town with integrity. Moreover, Sharon has a very big heart and is a person on whom her friends and family can always count in tough times.

Now -- if I could just get her to see my point of view on issues! LOL
