The clean up today will go from 4 pm - 7pm. We will start staging at 3pm. Today's focus is mulching Gere Park, and between Monmouth and Browne streets as well as the normal brush removal. If you have a rake, shovel, weed whacker, or other relevant tool please bring it with you.

I wish I could be there with you, but work is calling and I will be there at those times. I love these types of community projects. (It looks like I missed the down town planting too. ) Best of luck to you and all the volunteers. I do hope you have a good turn out.

I would like to thank the Gorilla Gardner’s who reached out to me yesterday and came out to weed, mulch, trim branches, and plant six hydrangea at Gere Park. I would also like to thank the Boro public works employees who helped stage the donated mulch at the park and between Monmouth and Browne. In addition to the Gorilla Gardner’s who addressed Gere Park 15 - 20 day laborers from Casa Freehold mulched, picked up trash, planted 10 hydrangea between Monmouth and Browne and continued the brush removal between the tracks and Throckmorton Street, from Browne down to the muster zone.

Jeff, thank you for the follow through. I was just out and around town and all of the areas you worked on look much better. I wish I was around yesterday. It looks like a really nice turn out. I started this thread clean, as opposed to the last one where we saw some "heat." I did so because I believe it is important to show off the good things. With the "heat" aside, I do believe this is a really god initiative and I am glad that somebody is doing it-finally. Good job to you and the other business owners who are taking part in this.
