Topic: 2010 – 2011 Final (Board of Education) Budget Approval
Date: Tuesday March 30th
Time: 7pm
Location: Park Avenue Elementary School
Breakdown: Today's meeting will be a detailed review of the proposed 2010-2011 FBSD budget. Upon conclusion of the review, Board of Education members will then vote on the budget to determine if it should be presented to the Borough residents for acceptance/rejection during the upcoming vote on April 20th.

Thanks for posting this. I was going to post some good news I found about the schools, but will wait until tomorrow so this does not get buried and more people see this.

I will say, it is very good to see that this budget does not have cuts to services or staff. There are so many articles in the papers these days about schools cutting both drastically. I hope the unions are paying very close attention. Wage freezes, and 1.5 percent pay toward health care costs is not so bad compared to job losses.
