Rscott,
Terrific first post, thank you for sharing this info. I hope that the free advertising that you get from posting here helps out.
I would like to make you aware that as a registered participant, you can also add these events to the calendar. Feel free to do so if you wish.
All a registered participant has to do is go to the calendar and click on the date of the event. It is then just like making a regular post except that adding content is not necessary, though possible.
If you have any further ideas concerns or suggestions to better the site, feel free to reach out to me.
Brian

Brian: I am glad to have discovered this site. (credit goes to my wife Maureen) I had placed the October event on the calendar prior to creating this thread. It was pretty straight forward and I will do the same with our other events. I am considering whether the Knights should be present at your upcoming Volunteer Fair. Would it be possible for you to provide a list of the other groups that plan on being there? I know you hope to have the various boro committees represented but it would be helpful to know what other civic groups plan on attending. Thanks Rick

Rick,
I had not noticed that you placed an event in the calendar. I wish more people would take advantage of that feature as you did. I try to keep up, but miss a lot.
The K of C would be a wonderful addition to the volunteer fair. Off the top of my head, the only other group of that nature that is attending is the local Masons Lodge. Besides the municipal committees we also have the Court Street School, Racers Club, Freehold beautiful, Freehold Borough Educational foundation, Habitat for Humanity and more. We may even have a local church or two.
All together we will have 25-30 tables filled. We can provide the table and two chairs, which are free to participants. If you are interested, just let me or Kevin Asadi, event chairman, know you are coming. What participants do with the table is up to them and we welcome any creative ways that groups may do to make it interesting to visitors.
