Successful Spring Job Fair “grows” into a Fall Classic: Freehold Job Fair II is Coming!
FREEHOLD BOROUGH, NJ – Building on the tremendous success of its initial Job Fair in April of this year, Debbie Keelan and Anthony DiFlumeri, Co-Chairs of the Freehold Borough Neighborhood Pride Committee, announced the return of the Freehold Borough Job Fair, which will take place on Monday, October 12 from 1 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. at the Freehold Intermediate School gymnasium, Park Avenue (Route 33).
Dozens of companies seeking employees for year round and holiday season hiring , representing a variety of industries and all levels of jobs, will have booths; jobs are available in many fields. Attendance is free to anyone looking for a job.
More than 30 companies and 300 attendees “talked turkey” at April’s job fair and many seeking work received and accepted job offers from thrilled employers. Marc D. Le Vine, Freehold Borough Council liaison to the Neighborhood Pride Committee, expects the same or more at the October 12 Job Fair. “We were very pleasantly surprised to hear how many people got hired because they attended the job fair. The hallmark of a strong community is one in which people work hard and enjoy the security and stability of employment in a stable company. The Neighborhood Pride Committee is committed to ensuring residents have every advantage and opportunity feasible to provide for their families and feel good about themselves.”
Le Vine counsels attendees to bring resumes, dress professionally and present themselves with an optimistic attitude. “First impressions are lasting impressions,” he advises.
