First the really bad news. South street Victorian closed! That was one of our favorite places and we will miss it. Now the new news.... there is a new place in its place called "The Inn at 75 South Street" Over all not a bad place. The food was very good. I had the pork beggars purse for appetizer and the Hangers, Bangers, and Mash for the entree. The meal was a very sizable portion and very tasty. The wife had the oysters for appetizer and the Halibut for entree. She liked both very much For dessert we both a a chocolate mousse/cake type dessert that was very good. The atmosphere was nice as it is a nice building. Playing in the back round was very good jazz and classical. The prices were a bit high. This will only be a special occasion place for us. Service was very good and attentive Here is the link www.theinnat75south.com/the menu www.theinnat75south.com/menu.pdf

Bummer about South Street Victorian. I went to HS with the guy who owned it/chef and I see him around every once in a while. It was his first go at it, and I'm sure he'll take the lessons from SSV and succeed in a different venture.
Didn't know the new place was opened yet. Good to know.
