FREEHOLD — A man robbed a branch of Bank America at Main and Court streets about 3 p.m. Friday, getting away with an undisclosed amount of money.



First Assistant Monmouth County Prosecutor Peter Warshaw said the man did not show a weapon. He apparently fled on foot.

Authorities are looking for a suspect described as a black male, 30 to 40 years of age, approximately six feet tall with a thin build, and wearing a dark, hooded sweat shirt and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Jeffrey Wilbert at the prosecutor's office, 1 [phone], or Freehold Police Detective Michael George at [phone].

I will certainly keep my eyes peeled for a black male, 30-40 years of age, approximately six feet tall with a thin build.

More productive then looking for gray haired white women like they do at airports.

Remember police work is all about profiling
