I have a couple of prior posts on this site, which I will summarize below because they are relevant to the point of this post.
1. I have complained here in the past about how long it took for the town to wash away a vulgar drawing on the street on the corner of West Main and Enright Avenue. Let's just say that the offensive drawing was of a certain part of the male anatomy, and the drawing incorporated two manhole caps in the street.
It was eventually cleaned, but only after I made at least 2 phone calls and about 6 months passed.
2. Freehold has a great little shout-out on wikipedia. If you were to look up the word "Americana" on wikipedia, the photograph that is used to demonstrate Americana is a photograph of the diner on Main Street right next to the Exxon station.

Well, let's just say that not all of the photographic presence of Freehold Borough on the internet is as heart-warming as that which is shown on wikipedia.
I present to you the photo of my corner in "streetview" on Google Maps, I shall name the image: "Driving me Nuts".
