FREEHOLD: A field of eight horses all with African-American drivers will compete in Freehold Raceway's Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Pace on Monday.
The participating drivers include Jim King Solomon, 46, of the Bayville section of Berkeley; and Dennis Watson, 59, of Lakewood.
The event has been carded as the seventh race on Freehold's program. The program gets under way at 12:30 p.m.
