Good morning, everyone~
This morning, my husband walked out our front door to find that three plants were ripped out of our front garden and thrown onto the surrounding sidewalk and neighbors yards. It's quite unclear to us why this happened and who would have done this. We made a report with the police incase something more substantial happened in the future.
Curious to know if anything like this has happened to anyone within the last couple of days?

Morris,
Sorry to hear that, I know you and your husband take a great deal of pride and care in your home. Were any other houses on your street messed with? I don't live too far from you and haven't heard about problems over here. I will keep an eye on the police blotter and see if there are other similar incidents reported.
Thanks for bringing it up, at least we can all know to watch out a little better.
I do have to ask one question, what are the chances that it is a disgruntled Verizon person?

Hi Brian~
My first thought was an animal had done it, though after actually seeing the plants, it was quite obvious it was done by human hands. (not to mention there were footprints to follow to a point)
My second thought was the Verizon gal. But why would she have waited until now? And in the snow? Anything's possible.
We looked at surrounding homes (not all the way down Murray Street) and didn't see any other damage. There was no additional damage this morning. (my concern was whomever it was would come back and do additional damage)

Criminals doing things in the snow is always an amusing and entertaining topic. It seems every year there is an article or two about some idiot who robs a house or steals something only to leave their foot prints in the snow for cops to follow and catch them.
