No plans for the super bowl yet? Here is a family friendly way to have fun and help others.
The Rotary Club of Freehold Borough is holding a super bowl fund raiser at the Court Jester on February 1st from 5PM to 11PM.
Proceeds go to local charities which are in need of support during these tough economic times.
Admin note- list of charities and contact info to follow soon.

People can get the tickets from Jody Gilpin at Center Street Tire (next to Sheriff's Office). Jody is the president of the Rotary club this year. Jody's number at work is 732-462-0565. $50 includes dinner (all you can eat) and drinks. Prizes will be raffled and there will be one of those superbowl contests to pick the final score. It is a family-oriented event. Michael Page is a Rotarian and he donates the use of the restaurant. Only people with tickets will be able to go to the restaurant. Some of the charities: Amanda's Easel -- art therapy for abused children Freehold First Aid Freehold Fire Department Open Door Summer Camp for kids with cancer -- forget the name McGuire Clinic 180 Turning Lives Around Freehold Schools Freehold Police Freehold Borough
Admin note- I will try to find out if people can buy tickets at the door, or if they have to be purchased ahead of time.

One more update on this event. While people may buy tickets at the door, it is preferable that people get their tickets ahead of time. This is for easier planning of the event.
All of the information contained in this thread was provided by a representative of the Rotary Club.
