FB Year in Review- 2008

Another year gone and with luck our town actually had a nice and easy year. Compared to previous years, this past one was a tame one. Lets hope that we keep on tha pace and continue to look forward to a better and good future in Freehold Borough.

Just like last year, I am going to go throught the FV and pull up topics of interest from 2008. I will lock this thread until I am done, and then I will unlock it so participants may post their own thoughts of the past year and what they remember the most.

Certainly not as turbulant a year as last, but there was a nice mix of stories about the schools. Here are a few. If I miss any of interest, feel free to contribute.

For the first time the schools offered a citizens academy. If they do it again, I highly recommend it. This was well worth the time.

There are too many threads to post on this topic. Take the time to go back and read old threads. It is a great reflection of all the events we have had in town. There are also many good discussions on the American Hotel, the closing of Cornerstone, and opening of Zebu Forno, new events such as Jolly Trolley Tours and so many other things.

This will also be a very good thread to watch for the coming year. I know we can expect to see more and new events, and i do believe we will be seeing more from the FCP in the way of very positive changes.
