Santa to make early deliveries in Freehold

FREEHOLD — The Freehold Fire Department started accepting registrations today for a fundraiser that could bring Santa to your door.

Interested individuals can sign up today, Saturday and Sunday for a visit from Santa sometime between Dec. 14 and 20. Santa will arrive on a fire truck, bearing presents supplied by registrants, according to organizers.

A $15 donation per household is requested.

Registration is to be held until 9 p.m. tonight at the Freehold firehouse, 49 West Main Street. Registration will also be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
