Freehold Dudes and Dudettes:
The Casual One's powers of prediction seem to get better with time.
I predicted the crushing defeat of Ted "wannabe Councilman" Miller in the November election.
I predicted the appointment of Geo Snurr to the Borough Council.
I predicted the final farewell of Councilman Crawford.
Then less than a month ago I predicted the glorious victory of the Obama Man. He has excited my generation like no one else.
Obama will win the nomination putting an end to the presidential pursuit of the tiresome Hilary. Then he will dice up the octogenarian McCain in the November election.
Go Obama -- if you win maybe the Berger Dude will move to Scandinavia.
Casually Rooting for Obama

Casually Rooting for Obama Obama will be a formidable candidate -- particularly since he is a gifted speaker and has been given a free ride on substance. I am for change. YEAH What kind of change? Real change! Yeah. Yes we can! Yes we can! LOL I love listening to the guy, and he is bright. Unfortunately, he is for the type of creeping socialism that many Americans from the Center left to the far right don't want. It will be interesting to see if personality can beat back the discussion on substance. Also -- don't count out Hillary and her folks from stealing this thing with the Super-delegates. Oh, that would be ugly. McCain v. Obama is either going to look like experience versus inexperience, or tomorrow versus yesterday. Not sure yet -- but i would be on McCain looking like Bob Dole did v. Bill Clinton.

Casual,
Most of your predictions are easy enough to make. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to come up with what you did. With that said, I have to differ with you on the "crushing defeat" of Miller. If you were to take note, the past two elections have seen the gap between GOP and Dem candidates getting narrow. Very narrow. This coming year will be tough on the GOP with the presidential elections, but the Dems have not earned any claim that they are on the right track and doing the right things. They should be doing much better considering this town is a Dem haven.
Imagine what could happen if the GOP in this town were to organize and actually campaign! At least the Dems might stop surrendering this town and put down their white flags!
I agree with your prediction on Obama.
