I grew up in the Borough, where my family resided until 2 years ago to move to NC. Having not made it home much reading this brings such good memories to mind.
The Silver Tavern, Hudsn Street School, FLC, St Rose of Lima, Federici' Pizza, The Fed and Higgley Families, Michael George a Borough Cop, hey we ever skip school together,the American Hotel, underage drinking at Veterns Park. There is so much that comes to my mind. But looking at the pictures I see things have changed so dramatically.
And Mike Wilson still Mayor, remember when I was lving around the corner from him as a kid, thought he was old then,,,,,
Well I am 43 years old now, a mother to teen age kids, living in NC, and no family there anymore to visit. So my visits are through all of your eyes. Thanks for the pictures, the fond memories, and bringing many smiles to my face......
