I ask the question found in the title without regard to who is running. Too often the question becomes, which do you support? That leaves us with the choices that the national parties put in front of us.
I do not bother too much with posting on the candidates. Most people do not come to a site like this to find out about them anyway.
So I have to ask the question, in the spirit of what this site is for, what do you want to see in our next president? Our nation has so many hot button issues. I would be willing to bet that your individual voices will be interesting.
Of course, I will answer this myself. I would prefer that others have the chance to go first. Just remember, this is not aimed at McCain or Obama. They are not the issue in this thread.
