A big thank you to all who helped during my car wash fundraiser last July 26th. We raised about 60% of my projected cost and the funds collected have allowed me to begin the second stage of my project.
I will be laying down a paver foundation in the back garden of the Freehold Borough Public Library at 28 1/2 East Main Street on Saturday, August 16th from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. The process requires digging about 8 inches deep of an area of about 100 square feet (10 ft by 10 ft). I am asking for volunteers to bring shovels and work gloves.
As always, any participation on your part is greatly appreciated and will count towards service hours. If you have any questions, please call. Thank you for helping out. -

Marc,
This is a very good post. Do you have any further backround on the project?

This is what Eagle Scouts do. They take on a civic project to advance within their scouting rank.
My advice is for anyone interested to call this young man and say that Councilman LeVine posted his call for help on the Freehold Voice and ask him how and when they can help out. I'm sure he'll appreciate the offers.
Were I not going out of state this weekend, I'd be there with my shovel.
Thanks.
Marc

Eagle Scout! That answers my question. Maybe I will grab my lazy wife and help out this person. Sounds like a good thing he is doing for our town.
