Freehold Borough historical records are on deposit in the Monmouth County Records Center located at the Monmouth County Library in Manalapan, with those of several other towns.
Mostly, these are very old ordinances. Some might find these interesting for historical background and research projects. I believe the ordinances run from the mid 1800's through 1988 and there are meeting minutes that run from about the civil war period through the mid 1990's.
