So I've been on a Bruce kick this week, ever since I bought Bruce's Greatest Hits album on Sunday night. I always knew just his major hits, but I hadn't really delved further into his collection, and while this is still skimming the surface, it's really great. I think I've found a new love for Thunder Road, Badlands and a couple of others. Anyway, I was searching Youtube just now and came across this fairly new music video for "Long Walk Home," which is obviously about Freehold. While watching the video, I noticed many of the Freehold landmarks. Obvious are Tony's Freehold Grill, the memorial between Broadway and 79, the South Street Barbership and I *think* that's St. Rose of Lima that he's standing in, but not sure. It even looks like Mike D. makes a cameo cutting someone's hair, but I can't really tell. Could be someone completely different. There's also some homes and people, which I'm fairly sure are Freehold residents. Not sure where the theme park and concert venue are though? Any ideas? Just a really awesome video! Check it out. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwcgoUYpBF8&feature=rec-freshSteve

Just found out that it IS Councilman Mike D. in the video.
Maybe this will really bring him in for a landslide victory in November, being featured in a major Bruce Springsteen video! How cool is that!?

Well if that's the case, than your mom will be elected President of the United States for her appearance in the Barkalow Avenue "Sunday flood" video you put on Youtube! LOL!!!
It's getting lots of laughs (including from her), I'll give you that much.

It looks like Bruce is singing in Asbury Park's Conventional Hall, definitely not St. Rose.
Long walk home, with a several clips of hispanics? Is Bruce sending a new message and changing his politics? It's gonna be a long walk home, sayonara amigos.
