Brian Dude:
Here is even something scarier for you to ponder my favorite muddled moderator -- I really like your Hall of Shame photos.
With the return of Councilman Levine dude I thought we would return to being stooges and lackeys for the borough machine.
Keep the heat on them Brian Dude.
Mayor Mike for Life needs to be kept on his toes from time to time as he collects his hefty borough paycheck.

Crap!! That's twice in one week we are in agreement with something, CR. Your favorite muddled mod had to look out the window to see of pigs were flying. My right wing-malcontent reputation will be greatly diminished if this keeps up!
Either way, glad someone approves. I simply feel something like that has to be present to be fair and honest. Keeping the heat on the appropriate places is crucial in pushing this town ahead in a good way. Ignoring problems will never make them go away.
After all, things that may appear in the hall of shame are a reflection of all of us. We should all have an interest in improving the weak spots in this town.
What I will not do with that page is turn it into a poison pill approach. It is intended to be a constructive challenge.

CR's post above is purely and clearly trolling. And that's shameful.

LisaS Dudette:
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Here is what you wrote in our last touching exchange --
My response to you is that you find anything critical of the borough administration to be "trolling."
Brian dude has finally showed a little courage (after many years of being Councilman Levine dude's yes man) by posting "hall of shame" photos. Our borough leaders need to be kept honest. They have done many hurtful things.

Casual!
I understand I shot a poison arrow...I really do. And I'm sorry if I offended your sensibilities. This board, however, is one that Brian has resurrected to become a community service tool, where differences of opinion are welcome, but personal attacks against people as individuals are not. I am following my moderator duties. I am sure you can understand that.
there are other internet boards out there, Casual, that are so hateful and out of control. It's more than ok to disagree and dislike actions, stances, but don't attack people. If someone came on here and verbally cut a swath through Messrs. Miller and Liccardi, you bet I'd be protecting them too. I will not stand for that. This board has high standards of posting conduct, as per Brian, and I agree with him.

Just an update. The sidewalk that appears in the Hall of Shame has been repaired. Within a few short weeks of that picture appearing in the Hall of shame, the tree causing the problem has been removed and the bricks replaced. This will now give pedestrians and bicycles who don't belong on sidewalks a safer place to travel. This may be a small thing, but it counts and does reflect the constant upkeep that our municipal services provide. Not long ago, the wife an I were walking along Oak and noticed some vulgar graffiti on several street signs. I had planned on taking pics and posting them in the Hall of Shame. The municipal workers did not give me much of a chance. By the time I got back with my camera, the signs were cleaned. Another good example was also on Oak at the little Veterans park. I had received a couple of complaints about that site. By the time I got over there with camera in hand, most issues were already dealt with. IMO, it is worth taking the time to notice what is being done right. Too often people will complain when things are not getting done, but how often do we notice when they are? Brian, you need to take down the sidewalk picture or post a pic of the current condition to show the comparison.

Brian, you need to take down the sidewalk picture or post a pic of the current condition to show the comparison. I will update the photo with a current one as soon as I get it. I have to go back out with my camera for that, as well as a couple of other hall of shame candidates. I did update the text on the Hall of Shame page to reflect that positive action has been taken.
