Can a proud dad brag a bit? Many of you know Steven and have heard of his business GrapevinePR. He is an entertainment industry publicist.
Steven just sent me the following audio link to WBAI Radio in NY. He is mentioned by them for putting together SOX & THE CITY, an event raising money for LGBT kids thrown out of their homes by their parents and forced to live on the streets. If you drag the broadcast bar, below, to about the 58 minute mark of the program, you will hear credit given to him for organizing this successful event in NYC this week.
I believe that Cynthia Nixon of Sex & the City attended the event, by the way.
To hear it, per Steve:
Go here, archive.wbai.org/ and scroll down to Wednesday, May 28 and look for "Wakeup Call" and then there should be "Play" or "Download." I think you just have to right click Download and then save file as to the computer.
They start talking about it around 25 or 26 mins in....talk about the Sox and the City event..then they perform and talk about their music..and then near the end (at about the 57 or 58 minute mark) they mention me and the event again.
