It is with regret that I inform you that Neighborhood Pride Committee member and long time Freehold Borough resident Kathy Blum lost her mom, suddenly, last night.

TANIA HETMAN, 74, SOUTH RIVER
Tania "Anna" Chmura Hetman, 74, of South River passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at her home.
Born in Belarus, she had emigrated to the United States in 1950, settling in South River in 1952. She was a member of St. Euphrosynia Belarus Orthodox Church in South River where she was a member of the Kalina Choir and Church Sisterhood. She was also a member of the South River Senior Citizens Club.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Herasim Chmura, in 1963; her parents, Nikifor and Aleksandra Rudzko, and her sister, Olga Rudzko. Surviving are her husband, John Hetman; her sons, Edward Chmura and Arkadij "Archie" Chmura, both of South River; her daughters, Katherine and her husband, William Blum, of Freehold, Natalia and her husband, Todd Wiedeman, of Howell, and Sandra Hetman and her husband, Christopher Kobi, of South River, and her grandchildren, Melodie, Michael, Kyla, Tania, Lauren and Karissa.
Funeral services will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave., South River, followed by a 8:30 a.m. service at St. Euphrosynia Belarus Orthodox Church in South River, with burial to follow at St. Euphrosynia Cemetery, South River. Calling hours at the funeral home will be 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. on Friday. Panahida services with choir will be held 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Take turn-off and go straight. DO NOT go back over Rte.18

Next light is Hillside Avenue. Go thru this light and this is Main Street in South River.
The 3rd light is Jackson Street. Make a RIGHT.
Follow Jackson Street around the bend and come to light.
This is Obert Street. Go thru this light.
The next light is Whitehead Avenue. There is a Catholic Church on the right.
Make a RIGHT at this light. The funeral home is on the right hand side about 1/10 of a mile, Maliszewski Funeral Home, 732-254-0428.
The church is 8/10 of a mile down the road from the funeral home.
When leaving the funeral home parking lot, make a right.
You are on Whitehead Avenue. Go 8/10 of a mile and the church is on the right.
