LEE H. DEEDMEYER, 74, of FREEHOLD

LEE H. DEEDMEYER, 74, of FREEHOLD, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 1, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Freehold, he was a lifelong resident. Mr. Deedmeyer was a master craftsman sheet metal fabricator, and the owner and operator of Lee's Sheet Metal, Freehold. He served in the Army National Guard from 1952 to 1960. He was a graduate of Freehold Borough High School. He had a love of all sports and was a true fan of the New York Yankees, New York Giants, and New York Knicks. He enjoyed crabbing on Long Beach Island, tending his gardens and designing stained glass. One of his greatest joys was maintaining his family's original Victorian homestead, built by his grandfather Lee Otto Deedmeyer in 1890.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Patricia McChesney Deedmeyer; a son and daughter-in-law, Lee H. Jr. and Tara Deedmeyer, Freehold; daughter and son-in-law, Dina and Eric Kudlack, Saddle Brook; and five loving grandchildren, Briana, Lindsey and Whitney Deedmeyer, and Frank and Ana Kudlack.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St., Freehold. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. Donations in his memory to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 or the National Kidney Foundation, 111 S. Independence Mall E, Suite 411, The Philadelphia Bourse Building, Philadelphia, PA 19106 would be appreciated.
