While I support Jim and Adam who are also running again, I am always disappointed at the fact that we can't ever seem to get any competition for school board elections. Considering all of the "concerned citizens" in town, you would think elections are more hotly contested, but the reality it that they are not. This is sad. As for holly's statement, "Can andie hold duel offices"...I am not aware of another post that I hold in town that would make me a duel office holder...did I get appointed somewhere?  ? |

Andrew, What you posted on is really a sad reflection of our town. Even beyond the BOE, there isn't exactly people lining up for council either. We had no race for mayor this year, we get very little opposition for council seats, and even the Dems do not have people banging on the door to get on board.
I was very surprised that Miller did not run for BOE considering his fierce dedication and support of the schools.

I think...perhaps...Miller has his sights set...maybe....on another office...possibly but that does not answer the question about all of the other folks in town. |
