We will be looking for some new Board Members for the Historic Preservation Commission over the next several weeks. A few members recently resigned and we will need to replace them with professionals from the historic preservation or architecture fields as well as "good, Ole' regular residents," who have a great love for and appreciate old buildings - homes and businesses.
The commitment is only one meeting per month and possible service on ad hoc committees, as the need arises. If you are interested, please email me at stffgpr2003@yahoo.com. At this point, we are learning of interest and taking names. Thank you.

Everyone should be very proud of the following from the Associate Dean of the School of Historic Preservation at Columbia University. She is very aware of Freehold Borough. She's helping us replace members on the HPC and has already recommended someone to us:
Dear Marc: Thanks for thinking of us. I have always regarded Freehold as a delightful town with a particularly diverse and interesting architectural heritage.
Basically, you are looking for a Class A member for the commission, right?
I will circulate an announcement and see if we can drum up anyone. Best wishes, Janet W. Foster Associate Director for Planning and Preservation Columbia University
