AS per the APP this Beer keg registration was on the agenda:

We will likely see other towns also doing this. Belmar recently led the way with this initiative.
It was mentioned last night that the no knock ordinance did have it's second reading at the last council meeting. That issue had been ignored due to the large amount of people from out of town who attended that meeting.
Speaking of the large amount of people from out of town. During the public comment portion of last nights meeting, a few people did express their unhappy thoughts at what had transpired. It was clear that the people of this town resented being shut out of their own town council meeting for a bunch of people who do not live here, and in some cases this state. This is a continued reflection of the backlash that has arisen against the organizers of that protest.
Of course, Tom Baldwin expressed concerns about the rental recommendations. He brought up the infamous number 15, which has already been tossed out the window, as well as the concept of "deputizing" the town workers. He mentioned that the town is facing more charges from the law suit if these measures are enacted. The council has made clear that the measures are only being considered and the lawful nature of all measures that were recommended is being considered.
Other items of interest:
A resolution supporting the "click it or ticket" mobilization between May 21 and June 3. Councilman Crawford volunteered to drive down Main Street without a seatbelt to find out how aggressive the PD will be and to find out what the fine will cost him.
There was an update from Joe Bellina about the Public Relations proposal. Borough Attorney Kerry Higgins will draw up an ordinance that should be introduced at the next workshop.
And the most important item last night......
A resolution was introduced declaring the Gypsy Moth to be a public nuisance.
