Just reminding everyone that, since today is Presidents Day, our monthly Council Workshop is scheduled for tomorrow night, Tuesday, February 20th 2007 at 7 pm.
There is an interesting agenda for the meeting.
I will be rolling out a presentation for a Public Relations Committee designed to help FB get more and better press by stressing the postives around town and the good that our other committees need to share with the public. They would also work with Realtors in helping them sell FB to young families rather than investors. We've lucked out. The volunteers for the committee are professional PR and Journalism people, who know there way around the business.
Also to be revelaled, is a partial report on the ongoing downtown VISION STUDY, which Schoor DePalma is working on. This part of their report talks about the boundaries of the business district.
There may also be a reworked version of the No-Knock Ordinance on the agenda.
All in all, it will be an interesting meeting. We need your support!
