I will let this be my last post regarding Brian Dude. The censorship issue I will continue to bring up where appropriate.
Now, I have been reading Brian's posts for many years and he seems like a genuinely decent person. I am sure he is.
But, honestly as a site moderator he stinks.
Posts should only be edited if they violate guidelines that are clearly posted. There should be no editing of free speech. Now Miller Dude and Councilman Levine dude and the immigrant advocates and all the public officials are fair game. It is the life they have chosen.
Brian has no place deleting posts.
Like Joe Torre -- he needs to go.

My sources have just informed me that BRIAN IS AN ILLEGAL BULGARIAN. This is from Vlad Zulivun a high raking party official who worked with Brian at the "Smith and Wesson Umbrella Factory" in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1981. Brain, you sure can blend! Had me fooled, but the slivowitz still was a dead giveaway! Sorry if I offended any Bulgarian voters, I am not suggesting all Bulgarians work in umbrella factories, nor am I suggesting that all Bulgarians have Slivowitz Stills...ONLY BRIAN! Personally I have a few Stephen Stills!!! (In case it comes out in the press, you read it here first, YOUR first source for breaking Boro news Balanced and Uncexxxxed!!!  ) |

Posters only have the right to free speech insofar as it does not break those rules. In other words, while you do have the right to say whatever you want, no one has an obligation to provide you with a place to say it. If you don't like that, perhaps you might consider starting your own message board. Or maybe you should just try blogging... plenty of free places to do that, with no one looking over your shoulder. Well then Cheryl the board ought not to advertise itself as a place for a free exchange of ideas.
It should be clear -- if Brian dude does not like it - it will be deleted.
Only one rule -- Brian Rules.
Is that what we have here? If so, announce it as such to the residents.

Casually Calling for Your Resignation Brian does a remarkable job of keeping this forum going -- and trying to be both a moderator -- and a voice of sanity for positive posting. (Positive being constructive positive political discussion or questions about issues -- or just good old fashion fluff.) He stepped into the void when the last site person skipped town and abandoned the site -- apparently related to personal issues. If Brian left -- there would be no site -- which I am sure would be great to members of the radical left open borders' lobby trying to stamp out any objection to illegal immigration. Brian deserves more credit than he receives for his work on this site -- and on behalf of the town. Moderating sites like this are not that easy as they appear. I think Brain is trying to stay true to both the site rules, and the mandate that people "keep it sane." Not easy, as the latter requires some subjectivity. We don't need Brain's resignation -- we need more Brians. |

Are you saying that after all the love and dedication we poured into this organization you, me and Councilman Levine dude are all that is left. (Kelso dude too).
You mean if you get hit by a truck there is no one capable of taking your place as moderator?
This is a grievious blow to Freehold Borough. We don't meet anymore. We don't influence policy. And, now you are telling me that without you the message board I love more than life itself will go away.
Then I guess you will have to continue to muddle your way through as you have for years. A terribly flawed moderator is better than no moderator at all.
