I have been monitoirng your board since Councilman LeVine made his hurtful and ignorant statements about Latino and specifically Dominican and Mexican sexuality.
I have noticed that you have banned anyone that advocates in favor of the immigrant population. You are a well known board of hate throughout New Jersey, particularly in the Latino community.
I will be debating issues on this board that I see as biased and prejudicial to all immigrants. Let me start by asking Mr. Kelsey how he would eliminate the incentives that bring immigrants here? I hope you do not mind if I interject myself in this debate.

I hope you do not mind if I interject myself in this debate. Judging from your post, you have read little from this Board. Posters supporting and aiding illegal immigrants have been banned for the same reason as other posters -- violating our posting rules. If you want to read the postings of those supporting illegal aliens, you can read the postings of "carlos." More recently, you can read the postings of Conrad Rheams. We don't delete posts just for being foolish or even baseless -- as indicated by the survival of your post. As for me -- if you want to know how I would handle illegal immigration -- spend some time reading and comprehending the site. With respect to my proposal on illegal immigration, it set it out in my Op-ed in the APP. A link is provided below for your convenience. www.app.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2007708080360If you want to "debate," I welcome it. Debates require a premise, supported by facts and logic, reaching a necessary conclusion. Debates are not accusations. (e.g. You are a board of Hate). Read up a bit -- and come back and debate all you want.

No, Latino Star,
You, my friend, are incorrect.
Your little friends better watch what you say as they have said very offensive comments about the LGBT community and are being watched VERY closely and under a finely focused microscope.
I have already put some LGBT groups under alert to watch this board very carefully for comments made about us members of the gay community.
Before you start accusing some of us of hate, you better take a look in the mirror. We're watching you VERY carefully. Or at least I am.

Steve:
I do not know what LGBT means. Can you tell me? As for Gays, I have made no mention of them, so frankly I fail to see your point. That is why yout implied threat is unwarranted
Monitor away. If anti-gay hate is being expressed here you should monitor it.

It's funny how as soon as Casual Reader and Carlos and Zeus get banned, these other people, like you, start posting away.
Makes me think you're just CR or Carlos or Zeus posting from a different IP, which is why I don't believe you. I think you're spewing crap and I'm not buying it. Sorry. Defend yourself all you want, but one thing I'm not is naive.
As for LGBT, it means "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender."
You may call it a "threat," I call it reality. So far, whomever you are connected with, or at least have been defending, has really insulted the LGBT community and have made extremely offensive comments about us. That is why you are being watched.
I don't need you to tell me to monitor these comments. It's already being done.
You seem to have a double standard as far as offensive comments go. For you, if someone does something that goes against your efforts, you find something to use against them that isn't even slightly offensive and spin it to be considered offensive. However, for some odd reason, if you or someone else you defend says highly offensive things about members of another protected group, such as the LGBT community, that is somehow alright. I beg to differ and you are being watched closely. You may intimidate other people, but you sure as hell will NOT intimidate me or any members of my community. You may be able to throw your weight around with others, but not with me. I'm not buying it.

Steve please try and have a good day. You may wish to see a psychologist for your strong case of paranoia.

Why do I need to see a psychologist? Are you trying to imply that gay people are mentally ill?
Wow, what's that all about!

What does being gay have to do with mental illness

You tell me! You're the one that is insinuating that because I'm gay I have a mental illness. You told me to see a psychologist!
I think you owe the LGBT community an apology for your offensive remarks.

I hope you do not mind if I interject myself in this debate. Latino Star, You have not been monitoring this site as well as you claim. First point, no person has ever been banned for what they believe. Only for how they carry themselves. I have encouraged differing views and tried to make it clear that people are very entitled and welcome to their view points. The first people who received bans on this site were people who are against illegal immigration. The recent ban of the advocates who are with us is a puzzle. For some reason they have chosen to go on the attack, violate the board rules, put words into people's mouths, race bait, and take several threads way off topic. I hope those people will come back. They are always welcome. Second point. I defy you to show where, myself especially, there is a hatred toward immigrants and Latino's found on this site. Most of us have shown and absolute compassion for the people. Most of us have spoken very favorable of the Latin culture. Most of us understand full well that there is a very real humane element involved with illegal immigration. You need to read this site a little more closely and not just what you want to see. Most of our criticisms are leveled at the government. That is what illegal immigration is. Government failure. You do not see us wanting people hurt, demonized or treated as if they are subhuman. I would like you to start by going back through my posts and find the hate that you claim exists here. You will find none and that is why you are a fraud. On a more civil note, as opposed to calling you a fraud, I hope you do stay with us. I hope you have a real interest in Freehold Borough, which is what this site is dedicated to. I hope you will join us in discussing many topics related to our town and that just that one certain one. The down side of having you, I am seriously considering requiring that people register to participate. I hope you will join us and remain civil. Judging by most of your posts today, you are capable. Brian PS as far as what the rest of New Jersey thinks of this site, they can stuff it. This site is for Freehold.

Nonviolence is one of the major platforms of the Sisters of Mercy,” says Ruth Ann Burns, vice president of marketing and external affairs for Georgian Court University. “Bringing Elie Wiesel to Lakewood gives the community the opportunity to hear a man who lives the Mercy core values of justice, respect, compassion, service, and integrity every day of his life. He is an incredible role model for standing up for people who have no voice and using his power to focus attention on their plight,” she adds. A survivor of both the Auschwitz and Buchenwald concentration camps operated by the Nazis during World War II, Elie Wiesel has worked on behalf of oppressed people for much of his adult life. After the war, Professor Wiesel became a journalist and was persuaded to write about his experiences in the death camps. The result was his internationally acclaimed memoir, La Nuit or Night, which has since been translated into more than 30 languages. “I know the audience will be inspired by seeing and hearing a Nobel Peace Prize winner, who lives his life with such courage and stands up for people around the globe who have no voice. This event promises to be an exciting afternoon, and hopefully will make people think about what they can do to make the world a better place,” says Danny Goldberg, executive director of the Jewish Federation of Ocean County. In addition to educating people around the world of the horrors of the Holocaust, Professor Wiesel has also defended the cause of Soviet Jews, Nicaragua’s Miskito Indians, Argentina’s Desaparecidos, Cambodian refugees, the Kurds, victims of famine and genocide in Africa, of apartheid in South Africa, and of war in the former Yugoslavia. “The Strand Theater is pleased to partner on this historic event, which will bring a multi-ethnic, multi-religious audience of all ages together to hear a true national treasure. Our new art gallery is featuring a 40-painting exhibit depicting the 10 traumatic years of 1938 to1948. It is a perfect backdrop to Elie Wiesel’s visit,” says Theresa Beaugard, executive director of the Strand. TICKET SALES: Very limited tickets go on sale August 1 at 12 noon, and are expected to sell out, so please purchase tickets in advance. VIP tickets, which include center orchestra seating, admission to a pre-event guided art exhibit and a private post-event reception with Elie Wiesel at the Georgian Court Mansion, are $150 each. In 1980, he became the founding chairman of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council. He is also the founding president of the Paris-based Universal Academy of Cultures and the chairman of the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity, an organization he and his wife created to fight indifference, intolerance, and injustice. Professor Wiesel has received more than 100 honorary degrees from institutions of higher learning. Since 1976, he has been the Andrew W. Mellon Professor in the Humanities at Boston University, where he also holds the title of University Professor. Previously, he served as Distinguished Professor of Judaic Studies at the City University of New York (1972–1976) and the first Henry Luce Visiting Scholar in Humanities and Social Thought at Yale University (1982–1983). Professor Wiesel is the author of more than 40 books of fiction and nonfiction, including A Beggar in Jerusalem (Prix Médicis winner), The Testament (Prix Livre Inter winner), The Fifth Son (winner of the Grand Prize in Literature from the City of Paris), and two volumes of his memoirs. For his literary and human rights activities, he has received numerous awards including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the U.S. Congressional Gold Medal and the Medal of Liberty Award, and the rank of Grand-Croix in the French Legion of Honor. In 1986, Professor Wiesel won the Nobel Prize for Peace. An American citizen since 1963, Professor Wiesel lives with his wife in Connecticut.

I am a lesbian which would not be important except for the way our community is being so cynically used by the poster "Steve." Our community faces so many challenges and you for your own ridiculous and childish reasons are trying to use it as tool for some personal agenda. Latino Star made no offensive remarks against our community and you know it. Stop using our cause for selfish purposes. You do not speak for the LGBT community. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Alina/Conrad/Latino Star/Casual Reader/CARLOS/Zeus/etc.
That last post says a wealth of information about your true agenda and your hatred against the LGBT community.
Making up posts and people's situations to further an agenda, huh? You're a real class act, aren't ya?
This just further emphasizes your true hatred and dislike of the LGBT community and why various organizations are monitoring your comments. They know who you are in real life, by the way.
