Shopping Carts

Hi everyone,

It's so nice to meet all of you. My name is James. I
have never posted on here before. I just found out
about this message board via a friend, Carolyn, who
lives on Union Avenue.

My wife, kids and I moved to Freehold Boro about a
year and a half ago and absolutely love it. We have
separately and together lived in Aberdeen, Santa Cruz
and Colts Neck and so far we really like Freehold the
best of all. There's a strong sense of community pride
and family in this town and it's so wonderful to be
able to see that.

My children, who are 8 and 12, seem to enjoy living
here as well. In Aberdeen and Colts Neck, they always
felt a sense that they did not belong and we have not
heard that anymore. They are able to play outside and
we watch, but don't really have to worry. The town
seems safe and the people are generally very helpful
and nice.

Recently I had a small problem near my house with
shopping carts from the nearby supermarket, and I am
glad to see that the town stepped up and fixed that. I
have spoken to various council members and they all
seem very helpful. In both Aberdeen and Colts Neck,
you could barely even get them to respond to you, let
alone take action. This is definitely a plus why we
live here.

So, I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you a
little about why I like living here. If I can help any

It is great to hear from you! You are right about pointing out the good things of our town. In another thread I have asked the question " Why did you move here" of all our readers. You have answered that well and show a positive reflection of our town.

I hope that you continue to read and post here. We need positive voices like you.
