The following is a collection of things that I have picked up on recently. All come from credible sources that I can not name here. For that reason, take this all as "rumor."
There are reports that homeowners in the borough are having their fruit stolen off the tree in their yard. I understand that peaches and pears have disappeared.
I did find out about another individual who was swarmed by people seeking work, although the incident was not recent. It is a person I know and heard it from the horses mouth, not the other end.
On the same note as above, I did hear from a very good source that the police department is going to go through sensitivity training, as it was put to me, to help them deal with the Mexican population.
And last but not least. The biggest yarn of all. There is grumblings that there is a very strong interest in the revival of the Freehold Borough Republican Party. We will see about that one.
