Brian, If you didn’t post that News Transcript editorial, I never would have read it. What a hack that paper is. The News Transcript will go the way of the dinosaur along with the rest of GM News. With so much Liberal Bias and Ideological slant the Transcript makes for a good litter box liner. The People site is more informative not to mention more entertaining then Mark Rosman’s blather will ever be. Hey Rosman, Next time you come to this site dancing around with a pet name trolling for ideas, from looks of your mug shot, DickWithEars could be a fit for you. " People site is more informative not to mention more entertaining then Mark Rosman’s blather will ever be. " You are so right!!! Has the news transept EVER delve into important issues that challenge our lives such as yesterdays in depth Bob Crane and the Shadow Lords coverage seen HERE!!!

I don't see any problem with Mark's editorial. Being an editor and writer, I often feel the same. Sometimes I love the internet because I can find credible sources, and other times, I find mountains of just drivel. Using that analogy the Transcript must be the Everest of drivel. Maybe you need some Combofee! ;D

Before you go bashing Mark Rosman and the Transcript, just remember he was the ONLY journalist that read through the events leading up to and taking place on March 6th. He saw them for what they were and reported that way. At other times, he has been very supportive of Freehold Borough and very critical of it's adversaries. One only needs to review the archives and you will soon see that Mark Rosman really has a good understanding of what goes on here and takes our side (FB) more often than not.
Also, remember that the Transcript watches over most of Western Monmouth County and there is another controversial message board that really has had its share of problems - Manalapans! So, perhaps, that one has caught more of Mark's attention.
Let's not be too quick to throw Mark Rosman under the bus.
Marc

I didn’t throw him under the bus. He jumped under it. I was driving the bus and just didn’t stop. All right, maybe I shouldn’t have backed up but I just couldn’t help myself.

Hey Rosman, Next time you come to this site dancing around with a pet name trolling for ideas, from the looks of your mug shot, DickWithEars could be a fit for you. Berg, You are a harsh one at times! Ya must have taken those grumpy pills today. I can't say I agree with you. The NT has been good to our town. I am far, far more untrustworthy of another local rag called the Asbury Park Press. ( With all due respect to Nick Petruncio! ) As Marc mentioned, Marc Rosman was the only editor who came close to understanding what was realy going on at the March 6 circus. That is an example of the NT long being on the side of the law abiding citizens in this town and the trials we face. The gist of Marc Rosman's editorial that I posted was a mention of the place that web sites like this have. Yes, at times they are interesting, entertaining and more informative, but as I have mentioned in this thread there are setbacks and failings. The mainstream media and many politicians are often leery of and, at times, distainful of web sites like this. Some of that is due to intimidation that the average citizen can now be the writer/editor. I know the NT has visited in the past. I hope they are still watching. Like anyone else who comes here, they will learn a lot--after they sort through some of the nonsense that the editors of this site ( You the reader ) allow. And none of us can forget, we do get much of our information from both of these papers. They do help us to launch discussion for the average Joe's take on things.

Harsh? If you only knew what I held back on. As far as the APP is concerned, my cat would rather go outside in a rainstorm then crap on that waste of a tree.
