HUMMMMMMM Fiber, I do not recognize your quote, but is the picture in reference to me being a Star Wars geek? The picture looks like Tattooine, I would prefer the moon of Endor. Forget Hoth.

"Magnolia's and flowers everywhere" This threw me off ...but you are correct...Personaly, I'd like Tattooine...endless summer baby!!! Hang'n on the moisture farm, shooten up wambats..life was good for luke till the driods came adding all that Empire-Reble complexity! ANYWAY the quote... "Well, if there's a bright center to the universe, you're on the planet that it's farthest from." Perhaps Bruce was singing of the future and not the past? I hope not! "Now Main Street's white-washed windows, and vancant stores seems like there ain't nobody, comes down here no more"

LOMBARD STREET!!! I love it!
I swear, the first time we were at the light in front of the bottom of Lombard Street, and saw all of those cars just making their way down, I almost died. It looks like a Salvador Dali painting when you see it in real life. Very surreal, but what an amazingly beautiful city. I'm more of a Santa Monica/Southern Cali guy myself, but San Francisco is one of the cleanest, most beautiful areas I have ever seen.

Ugh, d**n computer.
AS I was TRYING to say..
Steve Bennett, a good friend of mine who lives in California, invited all of us out to San Francisco last year, so we traveled all over. We went to Tiburon and then drove down the coast to L.A. and then to Vegas. It was an amazing vacation. I recommend to all.

Yeah, there really is a lot to do in San Francisco.
We went to the wharf and went shopping and saw the nice view of Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate Bridge.
We went to Chinatown and had authentic Chinese food, and then we gave the leftovers to a homeless person in a park, but we think she was dead!
We went to the Castro district and went clubbing at Badlands and then had gelato.
We went to Golden Gate state park; we went to Haight-Ashbury (really cool!); we drove across the Golden Gate bridge to Tiburon and ate at some interesting pizza place (the people in that area are SO incredibly nice and helpful!); and we took a lot of walks around San Francisco. It's a really nice city! I miss California.
