I noticed that the News Transcript article on the internet regarding the Senor Reyes appointment omitted Mayor Wilson's remarks on the subject.
Those remarks are at the center of the debate on this board for months.
As a service to the message board I love more than life itself I will type in the three paragraphs.
"Wilson said he did not know whether or not Reyes was a member of Casa Freehold, but said he believes it is a positive step to have someone who represents Freehold's day laborers on the Human Relations Committee. He said Reyes is a man who was willing to donate his time to an important issue in Freehold."
"Wilson said it does not matter to him if all of the committee members are borough residents. Here is my favorite paragraph
"He said the entire issue arose because of the PEOPLE Web site message board, which he called 'nothing more than a Republican political Web site with a handful of malcontent bloggers."
For once I agree with the Mayor for Life.

Mayor Wilson:
Now we know why he had all his friends and others back off postign on the site. That makes it easy to attack and marginalize the site -- without addressing the issues. Notice how the toothless paper failed to take him to task on an easily verifiable lie.
BTW -- who made the most amount of noise on this site? Who caused the greatest commotion, drew the biggest attention, and brought the worst PR?
hmmmm?
tick-tock, tick-tock
Wait -- ah, Mr. Mayor -- wasn't that your appointee to the Council?
