I voted in District 2 at 3:15 pm at Park Avenue School. Councilwoman Shutzer was there, too. Also saw Wayne Mason and his wife Cheryl. Nice early turnout, though a voting machine was already broken with tech support on the way.
I did my part to save our schools. I hope everyone else had enough sense...hoping the State will ride in on a white horse with some more money. See my next post on that!

Marc Marc -- thanks for the update -- I moved your Panter post to it's own thread.

I voted in district six. After the polls had been open for one hour, there had been about thirty voters before me. I hope that is a good sign.
On another note, when I got home one of the Borough moms in her yellow shirt and two kids were going door to door handing out fliers trying to get people out to vote. The activism that the yellow shirts have engaged in is very inspiring. It is great to see these dedicated individuals trying to make a positive difference. It is great to see them going to Trenton. It was great to see them in a Board of Chosen Freeholders meeting.

Just voted at about 6:45 for District 4...I was number 80...to be honest, I am not sure if that's a decent number or not...but I am certainly sure there are more people out there who are on their way to the polls while coming home from work.
