Wow now I know what Al Gore must have felt like.
I went to sleep thinking they will clean up the voting irregularities and when I wake up I will be the Casual Councilman.
I wake up today and see that the machine has pulled its strings.
Neither Casual or Ted "Never Gonna Be Councilman" Miller will serve alongside Mayor Mike for Life or Councilman Levine dude.
It was a bruising campaign but I am ready to put all of the angry words behind us and build what is most important -- a better Freehold Borough -- a better Freehold Voice.
My lawyers urge me to contest this race -- I say "NO."
Freehold Borough needs to heal.
I and my campaign team of Holly, Ali, Zeus and Carlos will take the hard fought lessons and build for the future.
I want to thank my family who stuck with me through this 10 day ordeal.
I want to thank Holly for her creative jungles.
I want to thank all of you that had the courage to defy the machine and write in Casual's name. Did you notice there were 120 write-in votes for mayor?
