Total number of people who showed up at the polls in Freehold Boro yesterday? 1778 (ironically this year appears on the rug just inside the door at Boro Hall).

Let's see...the total number of people in town who are registered voters is around...5,000-6,000???

I know, people like to say that 35% is a good showing in a non-presidential election...but let's be honest...the real winner, as always, was apathy.
