Press Release
BORN TO RUN: Ted Miller Joins Republican Ticket
for Freehold Borough Council
Miller is quickly forming election committee aimed at winning a 2007 council seat
Freehold Borough, NJ, September 23, 2007 : Freehold Borough resident Ted Miller has announced he is officially running for the Freehold Borough Council on the November 6 th General Election. "My wife Lisa and I moved to Freehold Borough in 1999 to start a family and we enjoy living in NJ's smallest city." Eight years and three children later, Miller and family are still hopeful that there are enough faithful, forward-thinking residents, new and old residents, ready to make Freehold Borough the "All American" great place to thrive.
"I am looking forward to adding a new voice for the "First Class Quality of Life" that all Borough homeowners, investors and likeminded residents desire. I am both qualified and highly motivated to communicate solutions, motivate conclusive actions that produce a FIRST CLASS QUALITY OF LIFE!"
Freehold Borough's municipal revenue engine is mainly homeowner-ratable driven. New avenues beyond Downtown development must be publicly articulated, explored and executed. Miller says there is potential to lessen the burden on the escalating real-estate tax via establishment of a Business and Economic Development Advisory Committee. Miller believes the town needs venues that assure accountable pathways for municipal property tax relief through creative, growth structured revenue streams and municipal cost downs (not cutbacks).
"I share a clear passion for our schools, seek strong prosecution of Illegal Rentals, support appropriate implementation 287g and champion the first class quality of life issue that all residents face every day. My campaign will define on our common concerns and aspirations," exclaims Miller.
"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results "….Benjamin Franklin
