A little late in the game, but everyone has complained about their taxes in the borough but no one has specifically addressed the issue in a direct way.
Anyone satisfied with what they pay in taxes? Anyone want to hear more in the future?

A little late in the game, but everyone has complained about their taxes in the borough but no one has specifically addressed the issue in a direct way. Anyone satisfied with what they pay in taxes? Anyone want to hear more in the future? 1. I would say that most are very unsatisfied with what they pay in taxes. 2. I am sure that we will not only hear more, but speak our collective minds more. This issue of taxes has come up plenty of times from our participants. School taxes are the start. Unfunded mandates from the state and feds, overcrowding from people who should probably not be here, and the state not kicking in more due to the Abbot ruling. I mentioned and asked in another thread about out of district students coming to our schools. No one replied to this concern that may be costing us. Fedup brought up the issue of slum lords and their tenants who put out mass amounts of bulk garbage on the curb almost every month. We all know that waste management costs have gone up a great deal in our town. We have talked about county taxes in our property tax bills. Of course, when discussing taxes, we are not allowed to forget where we are-- The Soviet Republic of New Jersey. Tax and spend is not only this blue states motto, but it's religion. My question--[glow=red,2,300]is anyone listening?[/glow] But at least, big bro has saved us from trans fats. We can live longer and pay more taxes. ;D

ps- it is never late in the game. Who ever, in any office, gets elected, needs to hear us loud and clear
